“This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins“. (1 John 4:10) Love is ultimately what we all desire to have and to feel. We search for it; sometimes in the wrong places and the wrong people where real…
Devo de Impuso: Celebrando al Emmanuel, Dios con nosotros
«¡Miren! ¡La virgen concebirá un niño! Dará a luz un hijo,y lo llamarán Emanuel, que significa “Dios está con nosotros”». Mateo 1:23 Le he estado enseñando a mi hijo acerca de Jesús. El está muy emocionado por los regalos que traerá Santa, pero la otra noche me dijo: “Mamá, ¿tú conoces a Jesús?” “Si”—le dije. “Creo que…
Advent Devotional: Love
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Advent Devotional: Joy
Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. Psalms 34:5 It could be impossible for any person to find joy in difficult and painful situations. But when God lives in our hearts, we find a joy that nothing can take away. Our God…

But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.)” Romans 8:24-25 In Christ, there’s never a reason to lose hope. It doesn’t matter the outcomes of…
Bringing Christ into Christmas: why I'm celebrating Advent

We obviously celebrated Christmas season while hearing about the nativity, participating in Christmas plays, and singing Christmas songs but nothing that we did continuously during the Christmas season. I think that, as Christianize as we may be, most of us associate Christmas more with gifts, parties and family time.
